Fire Prevention
Thanks for stopping by the Fire Prevention page for Crowder's Mountain Fire & Rescue.

Please take the time to look at the tips for adults and kids on the right side of this page. Also please take a look at the Fire Inspection Checklist and Fire Escape Plan and PRACTICE THEM WITH YOUR WHOLE FAMILY!

Our station offers various programs and classes, to help educate the general public when it comes to fire and injury prevention.

One important tool we use to educate kids is our smokehouse. The smokehouse is a fun and interactive tool that we use to help install life lessons in fire prevention to the youth of the area.

Fire Prevention/Smokehouse Guidelines:
-If you are interested in the smokehouse coming to your festival or community event, or to schedule a station tour, send an email to: fireprevention@cmvfr.org with the following information: date and time of the event, contact information, alternate day and time, audience that we will be teaching, and any other information needed to fulfill your request.
-CMVFR reserves all rights to alter or change all fire prevention commitments if conflicts arise with day to day operations.
-If resources are available we will take the smokehouse outside of our district. Donations are always welcome to help assist with these resources.
-Requests that are not made two weeks in advance, will be declined.
-We cannot honor requests before 9am on weekdays.
